Our Much Loved Retired Dogs
AKC AGLOW STANDARD'S OUR CREAM DREAM, NOW RETIRED.
This is our darling Farrah Lynn, or AKC Aglow Standard’s Our Cream Dream. Farrah is the consummate companion! She is the most intuitive dog I’ve ever owned and fits in beautifully with our entire family. Farrah has an outstanding lush haircoat, a beautiful headpiece, and the most expressive eyes. She is solid cream in color with black points. Farrah is the result of a 30-year breeding program focused very strongly on excellence in temperament. Her gentle personality, sweet and loving temperament, and her outstanding intelligence are a true credit to the breed. Farrah has produced outstanding puppies, many who have excelled in a variety of areas of service work.
Farrah completed genetic health testing through GenSol Diagnostics and is Clear. She is OFA tested with "Good" rated hips and elbows, CERF tested with eyes rated "normal", and Cardiac results also "normal". Farrah is 25" tall and weighs 48#.

UPDATE June 2022: Farrah is now officially retired. She has produced some exceptional puppies and I am so very grateful for her contribution to my breeding program. Farrah is the face of my logo, and the mother of our sweet Estée who will continue on this beautiful and bright line of poodles.
Farrah's puppies have always been a huge source of pride. Eleven of her puppies are working as psychiatric service dogs including two supporting veterans with service related disabilities, four as Autism service dogs, one as a gluten alert service dog and one diabetic alert dog. She has also produced many ESA (Emotional Support Animals) and Therapy Dogs. Farrah has also been the Momma of some really phenomenal family companion dogs and I am equally as proud of each of them. Her own special intuitiveness has been the "secret sauce" with her puppies and an attribute that has definitely been passed down.
Farrah is just so special. She is my best friend, and knowing she produced many other best friends for her puppy families brings me so much joy. Her contribution to my breeding program will go on through Estée, but she will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you Farrah, for everything.
Farrah was spayed and remains with our son as a beloved companion. We miss Farrah Lynn like crazy but she is loved beyond measure and will visit us often.

AKC AGLOW STANDARD'S GEORGIA ON MY MIND, NOW RETIRED.
This is our gorgeous apricot standard poodle girl with black points, AKC Aglow Standard’s Georgia On My Mind. Georgia Peach, as we call her, is the sweetest little clown in a fur coat you could ever meet. She’s a gorgeous color paired with outstanding conformation, and her temperament is one of a kind. She makes me laugh every single day with her poses, her silly doggy dance moves and with her toothy doggy smile—-this is one HAPPY poodle! Georgia Peach is truly a sweetheart and so beloved by our family. Georgia Peach even has her own Twitter account, @GPeachPoodle if you'd like to find her. She can be found corresponding on Twitter with her human sister Emily while Emily is away at college. When our girls are home, Georgia is always wherever they are. She's a great co-pilot on their car trips, she loves sleepovers, and Georgia is a great best friend.
Georgia was selected to compete in a grooming show in Hershey, PA in October of 2018 and she wowed the crowd on the runway as the only apricot dog in a sea of black and white poodles. A photo of Georgia Peach competing with our groomer Cheryl was even featured in a New York Times article covering the event!
Georgia Peach is descended from my original bloodline, developed over the past 20 years. She is the great granddaughter of my foundation girl, a beautiful apricot named Fleur. Georgia Peach is the Mother of our beautiful Elizabeth, who will continue this line of exceptional poodles.
Georgia's genetic health testing is completed and clear through GenSol Diagnostics, and PennHip is Good at the top 90% of standard poodles. OFA prelim Hips, OFA prelim Elbows rated "Good". Cardiac exam and Eye exam both are completed with "normal" results. Georgia Peach is 24" tall and weighs 44#.

UPDATE November 2022: Georgia Peach is officially retired. Her puppies are always a huge source of pride to me. She has produced more service dogs than any other poodle in my 22 year history. She has a whopping thirteen puppies doing medical alert, five working as psychiatric service dogs, one as an Autism service dog, and one as a hearing ear dog. Twenty lives are protected and supported because of Georgia’s contribution—-I’m incredibly proud of that. She has also produced some wonderful ESA (Emotional Support Animals) and Therapy Dogs. Georgia Peach has been the Momma of some really phenomenal family companion dogs too, and I am equally proud of each of them and the care and comfort they provide their loving families. Georgia’s complete focus on “her people” is an attribute that has definitely been passed down. She always knows just what we need, usually before we do.
Georgia Peach is just so special. She has been an incredible companion to my own family who adore her. Her contribution to my breeding program will go on through Elizabeth and Penny Peach, but she will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you Georgia, for everything.
Georgia Peach was spayed and has retired to Louisville. KY as the beloved companion of my cousin. We miss our Peach Peach like crazy, but she will visit us often.
AKC Fales' Ginger, Now Retired.
This is AKC's Fales' Ginger. Our lovely Ginger Snap is the consummate companion. She is a beautiful dog with the most amazing temperament, exactly what I am looking for in a dog! Ginger is a JOY—-very laid back, exceedingly bright and she is very people focused. I am currently working on her AKC Trick Dog title. She loves to learn and it’s been a wonderful way to bond with her. Ginger has beautiful movement and she carries herself in a very regal way. She loves children and has become the resident "nanny dog" for our puppies. Ginger is everything I could ever want in a standard poodle and I am so thrilled to have her in my breeding program and as a beloved member of our family.
Ginger is a vivid light apricot color with jet black points. She comes from a solid apricot and red pedigree. She is 25” tall and 48#.

UPDATE May 2023:
Our beautiful Ginger Snap, so sweet just like the cookie, is officially retired.
Ginger was the Mother of two gorgeous Aglow litters totaling 15 puppies. From these 15 puppies we saw 6 service dogs, 2 wonderful ESA (Emotional Support Animals) and 2 Therapy Dogs. Ginger is also the Momma of 5 phenomenal family companion dogs, and I am equally proud of each of them and the care and comfort they provide to their owners.
Ginger is a very special girl! She has been such an incredible companion to my own family who adore her, particularly my grandson Noah. Ginger knows when the school bus is scheduled to arrive and patiently waits by the door for her boy each day. She greets him and waits under his chair for him to have a snack and get his homework done, then they are off to watch a program or play. Our family will miss her companionship and the deep connection she makes with those she loves.
I made the very difficult decision to not keep a puppy from Ginger for my program, due only to her difficulties with whelping requiring caesarean deliveries. It was the most difficult breeding decision I’ve made yet, and one that I feel very sad about though I feel was the correct one. I don’t want to carry whelping difficulties into another generation.
Ginger was spayed and will spend her retirement as an adored and loved companion. We love you so much Ginger and I am so grateful for you; I know 15 families feel the very same way!

AKC Aglow Standard's Hot like Fire, Now retired.
This is AKC's Aglow Standard's Hot Like Fire, or as we call her-----Elizabeth! Elizabeth was bred by me, from our own Georgia Peach and a handsome red health tested male named Ruger. Adding Elizabeth to our family was particularly exciting since she is from the original bloodline I have developed over the past 20 years. Elizabeth is absolutely precious! She is solid red in color with black points, is very nicely built and has a stunning head. Her personality is exceptional. She is exceedingly bright, very confident and an absolute doll. Elizabeth is gentle, very people focused and she has been a breeze to train. She just "gets it"!
Elizabeth is completely clear of genetic disease, a full Embark genetic DNA panel has been completed. Elizabeth has a "Normal "cardiac examination result, "Normal" eye exam, and she has an excellent PennHip rating with hips rated in the top 90% of the breed. Elizabeth is 48# and 25" tall.

UPDATE August 2023: I’ve made the difficult decision to retire our beautiful Elizabeth from our breeding program. She simply hasn’t ever ovulated, so she’s not a breeding candidate. Like humans dogs can also have fertility struggles, and though this decision isn’t an easy one, I don’t want to put her through invasive procedures.
She’s now nearly 4 and in perfect health otherwise. Our Lizzy Lu will retire to a loving home with her doggie sister Daisy, who is also a Georgia Peach daughter.
It’s always, always tough to retire a dog you love but doubly so when you’ve bred her. I was the first to hold Elizabeth and always thought that I’d also be the last. She’s special beyond words; Dave and I both adore her. Elizabeth will be greatly missed by our entire family but I’m also thrilled for Daisy and her family—-they have a GEM!

UPDATE 9/2023: Due to an emergency spay, our Estée was retired without puppies. This was a heartbreaking but absolutely necessary decision. Estée will remain at Aglow as our resident Puppy Nanny and our much loved companion.
Estée is the daughter of our Farrah and a handsome red Champion male named Valentino.
