We welcome all inquiries!
UPDATE April, 2020: Due to the dangers of the COVID virus we have had to suspend our open visitation policy. In order to keep our family and yours healthy and safe, we are not able to schedule visits at this time. Thank you so much for your understanding.
To ensure the health and safety of all of our dogs and puppies, please read the following before visiting:
I welcome our future puppy owners to our home to meet our dogs. When we have a litter of puppies, however, we don't allow home visits until the puppies reach 4 1/2 weeks of age. To allow this to happen in a safe manner I ask that you do not bring any animals, including dogs, to our home. This is because puppies, like babies, have weak immune systems and even if your dog is up to date on vaccines and shows no symptoms of illness, he/she could still be carrying a virus or bacteria that could sicken or even kill the puppies. For this reason I ask that you arrive in clean clothing and avoid contact with ANY other animals or pet stores before visiting. Please do not visit us on the same day you will be visiting another breeder.
Please limit your visit to 2-3 visitors if at all possible or immediate family only. I will ask you to leave your shoes on the front porch, so please wear clean socks, and you will wash your hands when you first arrive. If you are bringing young children please instruct them to speak quietly in calm voices and please explain they will not be allowed to carry or pickup puppies. They may sit on the floor and hold a puppy in their lap.
Lastly, please arrive on time. Just like you and your family I have my own family to enjoy and daily obligations to meet. Additionally, quite often I schedule meet and greets in 60 minute time slots back to back and if you arrive late it will interfere with the rest of our scheduled families. If you are late, we may have to reschedule your appointment to avoid shortchanging those behind you on the schedule for the day. Please ensure everyone that is visiting with you is aware of these instructions. Thank you in advance for your cooperation!
